OUR NEWEST ADDITION TO THE SEASON

Sounds for the Summer is the newest addition to Ensemble One’s annual season, bringing our full orchestra and choir together for an evening that celebrates great music in all its variety. From much loved favourites and major choral and orchestral works to contemporary repertoire and exciting new discoveries, each year will offer something different.

With the freedom to explore music from across genres, generations and traditions, Sounds for the Summer places familiar favourites alongside lesser known works and gives our musicians the opportunity to take on ambitious repertoire. It is a concert designed as much for discovery as it is for enjoying the music we already know and love.

Designed for seasoned concertgoers and first time audiences alike, Sounds for the Summer is about great music, shared experience and the unmistakable excitement of hearing more than a hundred musicians and singers performing together live.

Sounds for the Summer launches in 2027 as the newest of Ensemble One’s three annual flagship performances.
